Probably would've turned out a bit different but this was made according to specific instructions by the client, Chaos Tactics gaming tournament:

Dark grungy layout (sure..)
Blacks, grays, and fire/smoke/orange highlights (sure..)
Utilize sniper scope as focus of the site (harder then I thought)
Incorporate tournament's existing circular scope logo (only possible use I could think of was a login panel)

Header is going to change a bit, but this piece will be replaced once the final version in HTML/Flash is up.

My solution to their request was this:

The header will scope in on a backdrop for each page, and clicking each Navigation link/page will cause the scope header to "pan over" to another location/background, as if the sniper is actually turning on a 360 degree stance.
